Colin is the Manager of Building, Planning and Compliance at Greater Shepparton City Council. He has a Bachelor of Arts and a Graduate Diploma of Urban and Regional Planning from the University of New England Armidale.  He has been with Greater Shepparton since commencing there as a graduate over 20 years ago and oversees a department that includes statutory planning, building, compliance (including local laws and parking) and strategic planning (including transport, heritage and affordable housing). Colin is also the Municipal Fire Prevention Officer. His experience during his time at the Council, covers a wide variety of large development projects and strategies with a strong focus on development facilitation.

Colin will be discussing the 20/50 Greater Shepparton City Council planning strategy as well as providing some in-site into current and proposed land developments and their progress and in particular the impact of the October 22 floods have had.
