Professor Roger Lumley, FTSE, FIEAust, CPEng, Head, Department of Engineering, La Trobe University, Victoria provided an overview / presentation on La Trobe engineering as well as some of some of the plans for regional and central Victoria including an update on the new engineering building in Bendigo, La Trobe’s increasing interactions in the Shepparton area and also collaborative activities with the regional Tafes.
Roger also provided details for companies to be able to provide the required work experience to the undergraduates completing the various engineering courses at La Trobe. Without this experience the students cannot graduate and seek full employment.
