TAFE & La Trobe University Course development

GO TAFE, in collaboration with Wodonga Institute of TAFE, Suni TAFE and La Trobe University are seeking to develop a Diploma to Degree program in Engineering Technology.  To this end the providers are preparing a Business Case for the funding required for the development and delivery of the program and are seeking industry feedback.

The IN-GV lunch session will include a presentation of information about the proposed program including the extensive use of on the job learning models from representatives of the providers.

Post the lunch representatives of the providers will be available to discuss the proposed program with interested IN-GV members including hearing more about IN-GV members’:

• priorities for learning content that would be delivered by the program
• assessment of the merit of a blended delivery methodology including the use of on-the-job learning
• willingness to offer positions for students to learn on the job
