Event: RPM Pipes Presentation

RPM Pipes is a family run business, who have been manufacturing pipes out of 100% recycled plastic since the late 1990’s in their factory in Kyabram in northern Victoria. RPM have developed and operate a fully integrated manufacturing system, that utilises 100% post-consumer and post -industrial HDPE plastic, from household packaging that has been collected from kerbside and commercial industry scrap and make it into low pressure pipes for irrigation and drainage.

In 2015 Terry and Lauren Kay took on the challenge to further develop and grow the business.  With a dedicated team of experienced financial and technical advisors on the company board they continue to run and develop the business with innovative products and processes to keep RPM at the leading edge of manufacturing products, in Australia.

In our 20 plus years of operation we have predominantly sold directly into the agricultural market and have developed a strong a reseller network in the rural market, of approximately 130 locations across 5 States.

In this period of time we have also sold our product for Mining, Forestry, Civil and Personalised/Customised applications.

Since 2015 RPM have made significant investment into research and development of our product and have undertaken independent NATA approved testing to comply with numerous Australian standards.  This vigorous testing and striving for excellence culminated into gaining approval from the Department of Transport (formerly VicRoads) in July 2019, to supply our plastic pipes for use in Department of Transport related and major infrastructure projects. Our Recycled plastic pipe can now be used where specifications for plastic pipes applies on these projects.
